Robin Gilthorpe Joins Terracotta as CEO

Expansion of Management Team Reaffirms Company's Commitment and Investment in Big Data and In-Memory Solutions

San Francisco, Calif., September 6, 2012

Terracotta Inc. the leader in in-memory technologies for enterprise big data, announces that Robin Gilthorpe has joined the company as its CEO. Gilthorpe was most recently Senior Vice President, Americas at TIBCO Software Inc. and brings 20 years of international management experience to the company. His appointment is part of the company's strategy to further invest in its growing in-memory business and BigMemory solutions. Gilthorpe will also join the Group Executive Board of Terracotta's parent company, Software AG.

Terracotta reported second quarter license revenue greater than its revenues during the whole of fiscal 2011, and the company is on track to triple its 2011 revenue. During fiscal 2012 it has already added or expanded relationships with key customers including PayPal, Discover and Digital Globe.
